Casting is a personal project that portrays secondary characters and extras of the movie Mullholand Drive. I rewatched it and reinterpreted its meaning by my experience living here, in Los Angeles. There is a certain specificity of this city that you cannot find anywhere else. In my opinion, the movie itself is about the acting world in LA, its dreams and nightmares. I stopped in every frame capturing its characters, people who remain unknown but weave a parallel narrative in the film.

I consider this project in progress. At some point, I would like to focus on the invisible story behind these portraits. Here’s a selection of the 86 drawings.
